Golf Course in Larnaca

Postby kimbrown on Fri Mar 31, 2006 6:53 pm

I just went to view the site for the upcoming golf course in Larnaca - it's in a great location and the views are great! The course, when it's built, will be set in a valley that leads out to the sea...

I've asked a few developers when permission will be granted to start building, and I'm getting different feedback from all of them. I think it's still a bit speculative to buy a property on the course as it's not confirmed when it will start or when it will finish.

Golf Course in Larnaca/Oroklini

I understand that the golf course has now been approved. While we were placing a deposit down, the agent was told by her head office that approval for the golf course was made earlier in the day; she was also told to put the properties prices up for 8% the next day, and another 12% at the end of the money, so it seems we have made a "profit" for 20% already.

I can confirm from our Paralimni office that the Larnaca Golf course has been approved...hang on wait for it...subject to: proof of ability to provide the required water. Only then and upon published land registry confirmation will building permits be granted. So in other words approved nearly!!

Another year on and it still doesn't have planning permission. However, this hasn't stopped unscrupulous agents offering poperties adjacent to/overlooking the 'course'. One agent is conning people into believing it's a done deal by promising golf club membership 'free' with each purchase. Wow !. What an offer!. Free membership of a club that doesn't exist !.

I have been informed by a reliable source that all permits are now in place. he government-stamped permits for the course, the water, as well as the PGA certification and the final plans are all in place i am told.
